X-Men: First Class is shaping up to be one of the more interesting superhero movies that we’ve seen. It has two major things going for it – director, Matthew Vaughn, who made the controversial but at times brilliant Kick-Ass (2010); and its cast, which includes several of the hottest young actors working today.
Empire magazine devotes two different covers of its May edition to X-Men: First Class, and features several members of that talented cast. The one above features James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Nicholas Hoult (Beast).
The other has a great pic of the villainous Hellfire Club, with Michael Fassbender (Erik Lehnsherr), January Jones (Emma Frost) and Jason Flemyng (Nightcrawler’s dad, Azazel).
X-Men: First Class opens in the USA on June 3, 2011
